Mission Statement: To be guided by a personal and corporate commitment to environmental protection by reclaiming as many trees from the waste stream into usable lumber and woodcraft products, and to keep our resources and revenue stream local.

City trees can be turned into high value wood products. This mantle is black walnut heartwood.  The client wanted it to have a rustic look to fit the décor.

About Us

Majestic RECYCLED URBAN TIMBER, LLC, was born because we love trees.  We simply could not bear to watch trees sent to the wood waste dump.

We began collecting and milling select saw logs in 2004.   It was magical to see the boards of  Aromatic red cedar, butternut, Norway maple, green ash and hackberry emerge from storm damaged trees.  We were convinced.

Local:  Because the trees are harvested within the Twin Cities’ metro area,  you are supporting the neighborhood in which you live.

Green:  We like to think each tree we process takes the place of a tree now growing in Minnesota’s northern forest, or the mixed hardwood stands of central and western Wisconsin. 

Quality:  Urban trees are milled and kiln-dried for quality product.
