From logs… Reuse Is the Highest Form of Recycling …to lumber

Wood “waste” is preventable. Urban trees can be milled into lumber and used as flooring, cabinets, desks, picture frames, or electric guitars!

Majestic Recycled Urban Timber aims to use felled urban trees at the highest level of recycling: re-use. By using trees removed from the urban forest we are:

1) Redirecting them from the chipper and/or the landfill to a higher use.

2) Preventing a forest tree from being cut.

3) Employing Minnesota folks, putting money back into our local economy instead of supporting lumber imports from halfway around the world.

4) Reducing the carbon footprint embodied in each and every board foot processed and

5) Encouraging a higher green standard that is easier to achieve for anyone who is willing to ask.

Trees are a renewable resource. But landscape mulch or firewood are the lowest forms of wood recycling. We aim higher. Sustainable harvest has a new look in the Twin Cities.
